Detroit Public Schools owes $18 million for unpaid custodial work, company says
Staffing company Sodexo said it intends to stop performing work for Detroit Public Schools because the district owes it more than $18 million.

It was not immediately clear late Tuesday whether those people will actually lose their jobs. The company has provided building maintenance and custodial services to the district since 2011.
